Consolidated Sprint Notes

AI

Overview

Consolidated Sprint Notes uses Monty AI to compile and summarise all team members' standup notes for a sprint into a single coherent document. Instead of reading through individual daily entries, you get a structured summary of what the team worked on, what is planned, and any blockers — across the whole sprint.

Getting there

1Open the Virtual Huddle panel from the sidebar
2Go to the Huddle Notes tab
3Look for the Consolidated Sprint Notes (AI) action in the notes toolbar or header area

What gets consolidated

Monty reads all standup entries submitted by team members for the current sprint and compiles them into a summary. Each standup entry includes:

  • Yesterday\'s work — what each team member completed
  • Today\'s plan — what each member intends to work on
  • Blockers — impediments flagged by any team member

The consolidated output groups these by theme, highlights recurring blockers, and surfaces the overall sprint progress narrative.

Generating consolidated notes

1Click Consolidated Sprint Notes in the Huddle Notes area
2Monty reads all standup entries for the current sprint and generates the summary
3The consolidated notes appear in a read-only preview
4Use Copy to Clipboard to copy the summary for sharing in Slack, email, or a document

Tips

  • Consolidated notes are most useful mid-sprint or at sprint end for stakeholder reporting
  • The quality of the summary depends on how complete the individual standup entries are — encourage the team to fill in all three fields each day
  • Run the consolidation again at any time to include entries added since the last run

Troubleshooting

Consolidated Sprint Notes option is not visible

Confirm you are in the Huddle Notes tab of the Virtual Huddle panel. If the option is still missing, check that AI features are enabled for your organisation.

The summary is missing some team members

Only team members who submitted standup entries for the current sprint are included. Members with no entries will not appear in the consolidated output.

The summary does not reflect recent entries

Generate the consolidated notes again — each run reads all current standup entries. There is no caching; the output is freshly generated each time.
