Overview

The Monty Agentic Project Manager dashboard is available on the home page and gives Monty the ability to not just answer questions about your project — but to take action. Monty can analyse sprint health, generate reports, suggest changes, and execute approved operations directly in your project.

Getting there

1Go to the Home page of your project
2Look for the Monty — Agentic Project Manager dashboard widget
3Click to expand it or interact with the available panels

Agentic actions

Unlike simple Q&A AI features, the Agentic Project Manager can take actions in your project. Actions follow a Preview → Confirm → Executeworkflow to ensure you stay in control:

1Monty identifies an action to take and shows a Preview of what it intends to do (e.g. "Move 3 stories out of the current sprint to the backlog")
2Review the proposed action — all affected items are listed
3Click Confirm to approve and execute, or dismiss to cancel
4After execution, Monty shows an Undo option for a short window so you can reverse the action if needed

Executive Brief

The Executive Brief provides a snapshot of project health including sprint completion rates, velocity, defect counts, and key risks. Click Generate Brief and Monty summarises the current state in a concise, shareable format. Use this for stand-up presentations, stakeholder updates, or daily check-ins.

Troubleshooting

The Agentic Project Manager dashboard is not visible on the home page

The dashboard may need to be enabled by an administrator, or your role may not have access. Contact your Project Manager or Product Owner to check the configuration.

Monty proposed an action I did not want — I confirmed by mistake

Use the Undo button that appears immediately after the action completes. If the undo window has passed, manually reverse the changes (e.g. move stories back into the sprint from the backlog).

The Executive Brief is outdated

Click Generate Brief again to produce a fresh summary. Briefs are generated on-demand and reflect the project state at the time of generation.
