StoryCraft AI

StoryCraft AI

Overview

StoryCraft AI turns ideas, diagrams, screenshots, screen recordings, and documents into structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases — all powered by Monty AI. Access it from StoryCraft AI (✨ AutoAwesome icon) in the left sidebar.

The page has two panels: the Input panel on the left where you provide your source material, and the Review & Export panel on the right where generated stories appear. Use ↻ Start Fresh in the page header to clear everything and begin a new session.

Troubleshooting

The Generate button is disabled

The button shows the reason inline — select a branch, add more text, or upload a file as instructed.

Stories were generated but are not in my backlog

Generation populates the Review & Export panel only. Use "Add to Backlog" on individual cards or "Save Selected" in Video mode to persist them.

My session data was lost

StoryCraft AI saves sessions automatically. On return, a banner reads "↻ Previous session restored". Uploaded images cannot be saved — re-upload if prompted.
