See your assigned work
Ask Monty what you are working on right now:
"Hey Monty, what am I working on?"
"Show my current stories."
"What stories are assigned to me?"
Monty returns your open and in-progress stories with status, sprint, and points.
View a story
"Get story 837."
"Show me the details for story 42."
"What are the acceptance criteria for story 107?"
Monty returns the full description, acceptance criteria, status, assignee, sprint, and points.

"Show me the latest stories in the project."
"List the 20 most recent stories."
"Show me open stories."
Create a story
Describe the feature and Monty will draft a full story with title, description, and acceptance criteria:
"Create a story: add a CSV export button to the reports page. Acceptance criteria: the button appears on the reports page; clicking it downloads a CSV with all visible rows."
"Create a story for user password reset via email link."
Monty shows a preview before saving. Reply yes or confirm to proceed.
Update a story
You can update status, description, points, acceptance criteria, or any other field:
"Move story 837 to In Development."
"Update story 42 — change the points to 5."
"Mark story 107 as Done."
Only the fields you mention are changed — all others remain exactly as they are in the database.
Assign a story
"Assign story 837 to me."
"Assign story 42 to Sarah for QA."
"Who is on my project team?"
If you are not sure of a team member's name, ask Monty to list the project team first. Monty will match by name and confirm before assigning.
Add or remove from a sprint
"Add story 837 to the current sprint."
"Remove story 42 from the sprint."
"Add story 107 to sprint 14."
Troubleshooting
Monty can't find my story
Use the public-facing story number shown in the Silverile UI (e.g. 42), not the URL hash or any internal database ID.
A field I did not mention was changed
Monty only patches the fields you provide — all others are loaded from the database and saved unchanged. If something changed unexpectedly, check the History tab on that story in Silverile.
Monty doesn't know which project to use
Say "Set project 12 as my default" with your numeric Product ID. See the Monty Overview guide for setup.
